Call International Only Using a US Phone Number?. No Pin Numbers, Access Numbers, or International Phone Numbers

Marque Directo, a Tampa, Fl based international telecom company has recently launched their prepaid international phone service which enables customers to call international with only a US phone number.  Within seconds Marque Directo will take any international phone number and turn it into a local US phone number.

Karina Garrido, an Ecuadorian American who received a sneak peak of the product told us “It was amazing! I gave them my mother’s, who lives in Ecuador, phone number and within 2 seconds they turned it into a Tampa number. I also thought their service would very expensive considering it is the most up-to-date technology. But it is actually cheaper then the calling card I have used for years.”

John Gill, President of Marque Directo says “For years I have heard consumers complain about the inconvenience of calling cards. So I decided to create a service that truly satisfied the customers needs.”

The much awaited release of the product, is geared toward long time calling card users who are fed up with the hassle of dialing pin number, access number, country codes and long international phone numbers in order to call international.

Sean Gill, the Chief Operating Officer of Marque Directo says “Comparing our product to a calling card is like comparing a Pay Phone to an I-Phone…. You hardly see pay phones anymore and I fully anticipate the international calling card will suffer the same fate.”

Freddy Sidi, Co-Founder of Auris Technology and international telecom guru says “Marque Directo is simply the hottest new product on the market. It cannot get any easier to call international.”  They have created a service that not only eliminates the inconvenience of calling cards, but has cheaper rates to call international.

The company is so confident with their product they have been giving consumers up to 166 free minutes just to try the product. If you are interested in receiving free talk from Marque Directo simply go to their site at www.marquedirecto.com.

Question…

How do you dial an international phone number?

I have a letter from an international source. I am given the phone number of an individual I am to contact, but when I dial that number, I don’t get through. The number looks like this: 011 34 616 389 000 (this is not the actual number, but it is in this format). I know the number is for a location in Spain. I’ve tried dialing a zero in front as well.

This number looks ok. I would suggest that if there is a “0″ after the 34 to omit the “0″ and try the number again.

The “011″ is the correct number to get you out of the US only. If you are calling from another country you would use another number. Hope this is helpful.

You either leave out the 34 or 616, not sure. Best call the operator and have he/she dial it for you. Don’t forget the time difference!

You need the international access number then the dialling code for spain. You start by dialling them, then you drop the first zero from the actual phone number and dial that.

Your number seems to include all this (including the dropped zero) but if it was sent to you from a US contact and you are not in US then its the international access code that is wrong.

Spains code is 34, and it looks like you are using 011 as the international access code – this, as far as I know, is for the USA, if you are in UK, NZ, Australia – 3 countries I have lived in and know – its 00.

So – if you are in the UK, using your sample number, you should dial: 00 34 616 389 000
