If you don’t mind one PC being on all the time, then you can actually share internet connection with another PC. There’s a share option somewhere in the menus, you might also have to bridge the two connections (modem and lan to another PC) in you networking window…
Answer by dewcoons
PC Internet sharing works through the network card. Dial-up works through the modem. So it is not possible.
Even if it was, it reduces speed by half, which with a dial up is not practical.
Answer by Mystery Customer
You can use Windows built in ICS (Internet Connection Sharing).
Both the PCs must be networked together, if you don’t have a router then you can use a ‘cross over’ cable to connect the PCs by ethernet.
One PC will be connected to the modem & that PC must be switched on & the dial up connection running for the other PC to be able to share the connection.
